Dear Friends,
As a monastic community we want to thank you for the many years you have accompanied and assisted us.
We invite you to join us for a Thanksgiving Mass as we mark the fruition of our time here at Snowmass on Sunday the 25th of June. Following the 8:15 a.m. Mass there will be a reception.
For the time being we will remain at the Monastery as we continue discerning with our Order where to live our Cistercian monastic life.

Contemplative Outreach of Colorado (COC) has been in operation since 1984 as a non-profit organization and is overseen by a Board of Directors.
Our primary purpose is to introduce people to contemplative prayer and to provide a support system to sustain their spiritual development through workshops, retreats and other educational programs.
There are two branches of this non-profit corporation.
- The Denver Center for Contemplative Living is the teaching arm of the organization. website: centeringprayer.net
- Contemplative Outreach of Colorado – Snowmass which offers centering prayer retreats at St. Benedicts Monastery in Old Snowmass Colorado.
